The variety is a descendant of the KH Tas variety. The plant is of the short-stalked type, forms a multi-grain ear, and is capable of producing up to 720–730 ears per square meter. The variety is characterized as early-maturing and is noted for one of the earliest heading dates.
Thousand kernel weight is assessed as low with good grain test weight. The variety is intended for cultivation under intensive technologies. It shows a predisposition to powdery mildew and smut, as well as moderate susceptibility to helminthosporiosis.
