The Kira variety appeared in barley variety lists in German and Slovak materials of the early 2000s, including 2008 lists. In specialized databases such as GRIN-Global, it is classified as an "improved cultivar".
At the moment, detailed agronomic descriptions of the variety, such as maturity indicators, plant height, disease resistance, or grain quality characteristics, are absent from open publications. The variety is not represented in current production ratings.
