The variety is a winter two-row barley developed as a result of the cross Valerie x LNGN3601. It is adapted for cultivation on various soil types, including heavy and light ones, and is used as a feed crop.
The plant possesses high resistance to lodging due to strong straw. The grain is characterized by a high yield of plump fraction and high test weight.
The variety has genetic resistance to barley yellow mosaic virus types 1 and 2, as well as to mild mosaic virus. Resistance to net blotch and leaf scald is assessed as low or medium, and to ramularia leaf spot and brown rust as medium.
