KWS Discovery is a two-row winter barley variety that underwent testing as a candidate for the Recommended List. In the documentation of that time, the breeder's reference for the variety was indicated as KWS B99.
The variety belonged to the feed group and demonstrated high yield potential during testing. Further registration of the variety was terminated due to issues with distinctness, uniformity, and stability indicators; therefore, it did not achieve wide commercial distribution.
