The variety was obtained by crossing lines KWS Eileen and RTG Planet. The plant belongs to the short-stem or medium-tall type with a stem height of 50–60 cm. The ear has a pyramidal or cylindrical shape of medium density, awns are long with anthocyanin coloration of the tips. The grain is large, the thousand kernel weight is from 31 to 53 g.
The growing season of the variety lasts from 74 to 82 days. Yield is characterized by high potential, drought tolerance is rated at 7–8 points. The variety exhibits high resistance to lodging and possesses an intensive ability to tiller.
The variety is intended for brewing and the production of light types of malt, which is ensured by high extractivity, significant diastatic power, and low content of beta-glucans. The crop is resistant to powdery mildew, loose smut, Helminthosporium, rust, and various types of blotch.
