The variety is a two-row winter barley. It possesses genetic resistance to barley yellow mosaic virus type 1 and barley yellow dwarf virus. The plant is characterized by good resistance to powdery mildew, as well as above-average resistance to net blotch and leaf rust.
The variety is used in commercial crops as a grain culture and also serves as a parent line in the development of new varieties by Limagrain breeding.
