The variety belongs to the spring barley type and has a two-row spike. The main purpose of the variety is use for malting, which is confirmed by successful completion of technological trials and inclusion in state registers of a number of European countries.
During trials, the variety demonstrated extractivity levels of 83.2% with optimal nitrogen content in the grain. Protein content and diastatic power meet the requirements for malting barley.
