LG Flynn is a short-stemmed barley variety with a mid-season heading date. The ear is two-rowed, medium length, lax, and conical in shape. The variety has high straw strength and demonstrates stable yield, particularly on heavy soils.
A distinctive feature of the variety is a high test weight, reaching 69.8–70.9 kg/hl, with a low level of screenings. The variety is resistant to barley yellow mosaic virus strain 1 and barley mild mosaic virus.
It possesses high resistance to leaf rust and moderate resistance to scald and net blotch. The variety is characterized by susceptibility to powdery mildew.
