The variety belongs to the short or medium plant type. It is characterized by the presence of stiff straw and a good complex of disease resistance. The ear of the variety is of medium density; the awns are equal to the length of the ear or longer.

The barley is intended for the malting industry, in particular for alcohol production. The variety demonstrates high yield, especially in northern regions. The genetic basis of the variety was obtained as a result of crossing the breeding number NOS 111.303-57 and the variety Laureate.
