The variety «Vigdis» (NOS Vigdis) is a spring barley bred in Norway. It is widely known in Scandinavian breeding programs as source material for the development of new varieties, including «Arve» and «Lavrans».
According to genetic diversity studies, this variety is classified as early flowering. At present, the variety has the status of excluded (del.) in official registers, which limits its commercial use, while it is maintained for scientific purposes and field trials.
