The winter barley variety Noveta is characterized by rather early maturity. The plant stem has medium or satisfactory strength, and the intensity of anthocyanin coloration of the flag leaf auricles is assessed as very weak. The winter hardiness of the variety is at an average level.

Agronomically, the variety demonstrates high susceptibility to net blotch (Drechslera teres) and is prone to brown rust infection. Noveta's resistance to powdery mildew and yellow rust is assessed as medium. Traditionally, the variety was intended for feed and malt production.
