The variety is mid-season and belongs to the two-row barley type with the nutans or medicum variety. Plants reach a height of 70–100 cm. The spike is loose, straw-yellow in color, awns are serrated, caryopsis is hulled.

The variety is intended for cultivation in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia zones. The plant is characterized by high productivity and resistance to abiotic factors, and is used as fodder.
