The variety is a six-row barley, which in Finland is more commonly used for feed or forage purposes. The variety is included in common agricultural crop catalogues used in the European Union.
Between 2005 and 2012, the variety participated in official variety trials, where its reaction to powdery mildew (Blumeria graminis) and net blotch (Pyrenophora teres) was evaluated.
