The variety has rather early heading and maturity dates. Plants are distinguished by short or very short stem height and possess rather high lodging resistance. The thousand kernel weight is characterized as small, grain uniformity is rated from weak to very weak, and protein content and test weight are at an average level.
The variety is intended for feed use and can also be used in cereal and legume mixtures. Resistance to barley rust and scald is average. Resistance to net blotch and spot blotch is rather low, and resistance to powdery mildew is low, despite the presence of resistance to individual pathogen isolates.
