The variety represents the malting end-use direction. Genetically obtained by crossing lines 46401-80 and 45465-78. In literature, it is considered primarily in the context of research on malt quality and agronomic indicators of spring varieties.
During the trials, the variety demonstrated a yield comparable to popular European malting varieties of that time. In studies of susceptibility to Fusarium head blight, the variety showed results comparable to the partially resistant standard variety Vada.
