Variety description

The variety belongs to winter barley forms and was obtained via multiple stepwise backcrossing using deep-node forms, in which the tillering node is formed closer to the caryopsis.

Plants are characterized by high resistance to lodging and a complex of leaf diseases. The variety is intended for cultivation in the North Caucasus region and is capable of withstanding soil temperature drops at the tillering node depth down to -14...-15°C.

The variety produces large grain and possesses high productivity.
