Savelya is a spring fodder barley variety. It is intended for spring sowing, which makes it suitable as an alternative when autumn sowing is not possible.
The optimal sowing dates for the crop fall within the period from March 1 to March 15; however, under favorable warm winter conditions, earlier sowing is possible.
The variety is listed in the national registry — its seeds are authorized for sale in this country.
