The variety belongs to two-row hulled barley. Plants have a medium height, spikes are straw-yellow in color, cylindrical in shape and loose in structure, awns are long and smooth. The growing season ranges from 70–85 to 74–87 days.
The 1000-kernel weight varies from 48–56 g, protein content is from 10.7% to 17.5%. The variety is used as a feed crop and also serves as initial material for hybridization in the breeding of malting barley varieties.
