ActiveHordeum vulgare L. · Barley
ULRICH and JOSEF BREUN
10 August 2026
The variety was obtained by crossing Montpellier x (Beta 40 x Algerian) and includes winter six-row barley components in its pedigree. Genetic analyses classify it as a winter two-row barley, although the variety may exhibit characteristics of six-row forms.
In scientific literature, the variety is studied for resistance to net blotch caused by the pathogen Pyrenophora graminea. Information on plant height, lodging resistance, yield indicators, and grain quality is absent in available sources.
