The barley variety Stozhar belongs to the spring type. In agricultural practice and breeding, it is known as a specimen with good productive tillering and a high yield formation potential.

Due to its resistance to pathogens of smut diseases, the variety is used by breeders as a donor for the creation of new resistant varieties and in scientific research on the adaptive capacity of cereal crops.
