The variety is a two-row spring barley of the mid-season maturity group. Plants are characterized by medium-short stem height and good lodging resistance. The variety's yield potential reaches high levels, demonstrating up to 104 c/ha in field trials.

The grain of the variety possesses high test weight and plumpness; the thousand kernel weight is about 53.6 g. Malting qualities are characterized by a high extract yield (over 83% in malt), low beta-glucan content, and an average level of free amino nitrogen.
