The variety possesses a very weak or weak tendency toward lodging and stem breakage when overripe. Resistance to diseases is high, especially to powdery mildew; susceptibility to leaf blotch and net blotch is low. The variety is sensitive to cereal cyst nematode races 1 and 2.
Grain quality is characterized by relatively low bulk density and high protein content, reaching 12.4%. The yield of the variety is at the level of standards. The variety was considered as potential raw material for malt, however, due to the high protein content, its use in brewing requires assessment of the fractional composition.
