The spring barley variety «Traveler» belongs to the nutans variety. It is a short-growing plant 50–60 cm in height with a growing season of 90–100 days. The grain is large and characterized by low protein content and high extractivity.
The variety is resistant to lodging, drought, and grain sprouting in the ear. It shows moderate resistance to loose smut and net blotch but is highly susceptible to helminthosporiosis.
