The variety is a winter barley classified as 2-row and hulled. It was bred as a result of selection from the Fior Synt population and is considered in scientific work as a representative of the Southern European barley gene pool.
This variety was actively used in European variety trials in the 1990s. In specialized studies, particularly within the BEST-CROP project, straw composition indices of the variety were examined; however, detailed agronomic characteristics such as plant height and yield indices are absent in public registers.
