The variety has a dense, parallel-shaped ear in a semi-erect position, with awns of medium length. The grain is characterized by a whitish aleurone layer and the presence of hairs in the ventral furrow.
The plant is used in research work for studying yield and grain quality indicators, as well as in breeding projects aimed at increasing resistance to barley yellow dwarf virus.
