The spring barley variety Vista is a product of the Saatzucht Donau breeding program. In 2009, the variety was officially registered in the Czech Republic as a malting barley.
In comparative studies from that period, the variety was characterized by an extract content of 81.6%. Official data on disease resistance, plant height, and morphological traits are absent in current reference materials due to the age of the variety.
