Variety description

The variety is a winter facultative barley of the parallelum variety. The plant forms an intermediate type of bush and reaches a medium to tall height. The six-rowed ear has a cylindrical or pyramidal shape and is characterized by density; awns are long and serrated.

The growing season is 224–266 days. The variety has high lodging resistance and winter hardiness at the level of the standard. Under field conditions, it shows moderate resistance to powdery mildew and blotches, while being characterized by high susceptibility to helminthosporiosis and loose smut.

The thousand kernel weight varies from 37 to 46 g with a test weight of about 668 g/l. The protein content in the grain ranges from 8.9% to 13.8%.
