Volume is a six-row winter barley hybrid intended for feed use. The variety possesses high yield and good grain bulk density indicators. Key features of the hybrid are increased productivity potential and intensive growth energy compared to traditional line varieties.

The plant possesses a good complex of resistance to diseases, including Rhynchosporium, net blotch, and barley mosaic virus. At the same time, the variety demonstrates moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew and brown rust infection.
