The plant forms a compact bush 50–65 cm wide. The leaves have an oval or broad-oval shape with a heart-shaped base and a pointed tip. During the flowering period in July–August, the plant produces flower stalks 50–55 cm high with lavender bell-shaped flowers gathered in raceme inflorescences.

The leaf margin is capable of changing shade from creamy-white to golden or bright yellow depending on lighting. The variety is a frost-resistant perennial rhizomatous plant capable of growing in one place for a long time. It is used in landscape design for borders, flower beds, mixed borders, and water features.
