Variety description

The compact bush reaches a height of 30–40 cm and a width of 50–60 cm. The leaf blade is broadly ovate, thick, with a cordate base, an acute tip, and pronounced ribbing (about 11 pairs of veins). In spring, the center of the leaf has a warm yellow hue, while the wide margin is blue-green or steel-blue in color. By midsummer, the center lightens to cream or white, and lime-green streaks may appear at the boundary with the margin.

The plant is a tetraploid and is characterized by slow growth, reaching the mature stage at the age of 6–9 years. Flowering occurs in late summer with pale lavender flowers on scapes located slightly above the level of the foliage. The variety is considered resistant to slug damage and is used for landscaping shaded areas, in mixed borders, and container compositions.
