The variety is a sport of the hosta Bright Lights and is a tetraploid plant 25 to 45 cm in height. The leaves are characterized by a heart-shaped or oval shape, deep venation, and a pronounced corrugated texture.
The leaf color changes as it grows: the spring chartreuse-yellow center acquires a golden hue upon maturity, while the wide margin remains blue-green. In June-July, the plant produces inflorescences with pale lavender or almost white flowers.
The plant is characterized by slow growth and a preference for semi-shaded areas with moist, well-drained soil. Due to the dense structure of the foliage, the variety has high resistance to slug damage and Verticillium wilt.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
