Variety description

The variety is a spontaneous mutation of the hosta "Royal Mouse Ears". The plant forms compact mounds 15–20 cm in height and up to 46 cm in width. The leaves are dense, with a distinct texture and rounded shape.

Purple-tinted flowers bloom in July on scapes about 30 cm tall. The variety has high resistance to slug damage due to foliage density.

The hosta is suitable for cultivation in hardiness zones 3 through 9 in shaded or semi-shaded locations. It is suitable for borders, rock gardens, and container gardening.
