Variety description

The variety is a tetraploid sport of Hosta 'Orange Marmalade'. The leaves are thick, heart-shaped with a pronounced texture. The center of the leaf blade is colored yellow-orange or cream-yellow, which may lighten during the season, and the margin is wide, blue-green.

The plant belongs to the large hosta category, reaching a height of 45 to 65 cm and a clump width of 60–75 cm. The variety is characterized by a moderate growth rate. In July-August, it produces scapes with lavender bell-shaped flowers.

Due to its tetraploidy and leaf stiffness, the variety is resistant to slugs, snails, and Verticillium wilt. It possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -40°C. Intended for landscaping and container cultivation in shade or partial shade.
