The plant forms a vigorous spreading mound of hemispherical shape, 70–90 cm in height and up to 120–150 cm in width. Large leaves measuring approximately 30 by 23–25 cm feature a glaucous waxy bloom in the center and a wide irregular margin that changes shade from yellow to cream-white throughout the season. With age, the leaf margins become puckered and slightly wavy.

Flowering occurs in June–July, accompanied by the appearance of tall scapes with pale lavender funnel-shaped flowers. The variety is characterized by a slow to medium growth rate, high resistance to diseases and pests, and winter hardiness in zones 3–8.

The plant is used in landscape design as a specimen, for creating background compositions in mixed borders, and for planting along paths or water bodies. It pairs well with large shrubs and coniferous crops.
