The variety is a natural mutation of the hosta Blue Umbrellas. Leaf blades have a glossy or slightly puckered texture. The height of the bush varies from 45 to 60 cm, and the width of an adult plant is from 45 to 80 cm. The funnel-shaped flowers are light lavender in color, with the flowering period occurring in June–August.
The plant belongs to USDA winter hardiness zone 3 and withstands temperatures down to -40 °C. The variety requires time to reach maturity (6–9 years) and needs to be placed in shade or partial shade to protect the white leaf areas from sunscald. It is used in landscape design for mixed borders, borders, and container gardening.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
