The variety is a sport of the hosta One Iota Supreme. The plant forms oval or heart-shaped leaves with pronounced venation. The coloration is characterized by a contrast between the light center and an irregular blue-green margin, which often extends into the central part of the leaf.

Flowering occurs in mid-summer with lavender flowers on short scapes. Growth rates are estimated as slow to medium. The variety is prone to reversion, requiring the removal of shoots that have lost their varietal coloration.

The plant prefers partial shade or shade, and fertile, moderately moist soils. Due to its compact size, the variety is recommended for cultivation in containers, borders, rock gardens, and as a groundcover plant in shaded areas.
