The variety is a sport of the Twilight hosta. The leaves have a dense texture, providing resistance to damage. The center of the leaf is lettuce-green upon emergence, which later becomes lemon-yellow or creamy, and nearly white under good lighting. The presence of an irregular dark green margin is often accompanied by transitional olive shades.

The plant height ranges from 35 to 60 cm, and the bush width reaches 70–75 cm. It blooms with lavender funnel-shaped flowers in July–August, with flower stalks up to 75 cm high. The variety is winter hardy (USDA zones 3–9) and shows resistance to Verticillium wilt.

Prefers partial shade; brightness of the light center increases with exposure to morning sun. Used in landscaping, container gardening, and floral arrangements.
