The variety is a random mutation (sport) of Hosta "First Blush". The plant has compact dimensions, reaching 35 cm in height with a bush width of about 50 cm.
The leaves are dark green, shiny, with bright red or maroon petioles, the color of which persists from spring to autumn. Purple flowers appear in late summer and early autumn.
The plant is tolerant to direct sunlight, which contributes to the manifestation of the red hue. Frost resistance is up to -23 °C. Intended for planting in borders, mixed borders, and growing in containers.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
