Variety description

The plant forms a symmetrical mound 35–70 cm tall and 80–150 cm wide. The leaves have a thick, puckered texture; as the plant matures, the coloration of the center and the margin becomes more contrasting. In mid-summer, 60–75 cm tall scapes appear with lavender-colored flowers.

The variety is characterized by vigorous growth and good resistance to pests, adapting to urban environmental conditions. Prefers planting in shade or partial shade in fertile, well-drained, moist soils. Used in ornamental gardening as a specimen plant, for creating borders and mass plantings.
