The variety is a sport of Hosta Little Aurora. The plant belongs to the miniature or small group, reaching a height of 15–25 cm with a bush width of about 30 cm. The leaves are dense, rounded, slightly cupped, measuring 7–8 cm. Their coloration is bright golden-yellow with a wide light green margin and a central dark green pattern resembling a maple leaf.

Flowering occurs in late spring or early summer. The plant forms light lavender funnel-shaped flowers on scapes up to 25–30 cm tall. The variety is resistant to Verticillium wilt and is characterized by a slow growth rate. To exhibit a clear pattern on the leaves, partial shade with morning sun exposure is required.
