The tree is moderately vigorous, upright, with a compact or dense crown. Branches do not have a tendency for "weeping," thorns are absent or transient. The variety is characterized by early onset of bearing.

Fruits are medium-sized, with a smooth thin peel that separates easily from the flesh. The flavor is characterized as rich and balanced; there is a small number of seeds inside the fruit.

The variety possesses resistance to the fungal disease Alternaria alternata. It has xerophytic characteristics and leaf anatomy that promotes tolerance to arid conditions, which allows it to be cultivated in hot climates.
