Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a tangor bred using mutation breeding from the parent variety Murcott. The fruit is characterized by a smooth peel that is easy to peel upon maturity and develops a red-orange color earlier than the original variety. Seed productivity is significantly reduced: on average, the fruit contains about 8 seeds.

Trees require crop management to prevent alternate bearing and ensure adequate fruit size. The peel of the variety is sensitive to mechanical damage, wind, and sunburn. The variety has moderate susceptibility to Alternaria alternata, which is characteristic of the entire Murcott group.
