Variety description

The tree is vigorous and tends to spread, with medium-sized thorns. The leaves are elliptical with a pointed tip; the medium-length petiole resembles that of the Tarocco variety.

The fruits are medium to large in size and have a flattened or oval shape. The dark orange peel is relatively thick but easy to peel. The pulp is very juicy with a soft texture and contains anthocyanins, which give it a blood-red hue that intensifies with diurnal temperature fluctuations.

The variety is late-maturing; the harvest period lasts from mid-February to April. The taste is sweet with distinct citrus notes; early harvests may exhibit tartness due to high acid content. The fruits are seedless and are suitable for fresh consumption and juice production.
