The variety is a selection derived from the Murcott tangor clone 'J' via bud irradiation. The tree is vigorous and exhibits a tendency toward alternate bearing.

The fruits are of medium size and have moderate peelability. The seed content in the fruits is low, averaging about 0.9 seeds per fruit. The crop matures in March-April.
