Hybrids between Citrus reticulata Blanco and Citrus sinensis (L.) Osbeck Orange · Fruit crops

Variety description

10 August 2026

The tree is medium-sized, upright, with characteristic long, willow-like branches and lanceolate pointed leaves. Fruits are medium-sized, flattened in shape, weighing 70–120 g, with a thin yellow-orange peel that is difficult to peel. The pulp is orange in color, tender, juicy, and contains many seeds.

The variety is mid-late, maturing in Florida from January to March. The plant is sensitive to low temperatures and prone to scab and Alternaria. Thin branches can break under the weight of the crop, and fruits are susceptible to sunburn. A tendency of the tree towards alternate bearing is noted.
