The tree is distinguished by vigorous growth and high productivity; under certain climatic conditions, it is capable of reaching seven meters in height. The fruits are medium-sized with a shape varying from oblate to pear-shaped, sometimes with the presence of a navel.
The flavor of the fruits is balanced, reminiscent of an orange. The rind is difficult to peel from the flesh, and the seed content depends on growing conditions. The variety is sensitive to the Citrus tristeza virus and requires a sufficient amount of heat and sunlight.
The fruit ripening period depends on the growing region. In the Northern Hemisphere, harvesting usually occurs from February to April, although depending on the climatic zone, the timing may vary and extend until September.
