Echinacea Balsomold, known under the commercial name Sombrero® Granada Gold, is a compact plant 46–56 cm tall with well-branched, strong upright stems and dark green aromatic foliage.

The flowers are large, single, and a rich golden-yellow color with a copper cone. Flowering begins in early summer and continues until the end of the season provided that faded inflorescences are removed.

The variety has high resistance to lodging, does not require staking, and is characterized by good winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9. Recommended for border plantings, mass plantings, cut flowers, and container cultivation.
