The plant has a moderately vigorous and upright growth habit. The foliage is dark green, and the stems have a burgundy-red hue. The height of a mature plant typically ranges from 40 to 60 cm.

The inflorescences are solitary, deep scarlet in color, gradually acquiring orange-red shades. Flowering is abundant, lasting from early to late summer; under favorable conditions, individual flowers may appear until frost.

The variety possesses winter hardiness in USDA zones 4–9, is resistant to lodging, and exhibits drought tolerance after rooting. The plant is suitable for mass plantings and container cultivation.
