The variety is a perennial herbaceous plant intended for decorative use in flower beds, containers, and for cut flowers. The inflorescences have a pompon shape with a pronounced central cone surrounded by short petals and longer drooping petals at the edges.

The plant features good branching and lodging resistance, therefore it does not require staking. The variety prefers sunny sites with well-drained soils and is cold-hardy down to USDA zone 4. Under favorable conditions, up to 40 flowers can form on a single plant.
