Variety description

The variety was obtained as a result of interspecific hybridization of Echinacea paradoxa and Echinacea purpurea 'Ruby Giant'. The plant has a compact, well-branched, and sturdy bush 50 to 70 cm tall that does not require support. Leaves are lanceolate or broadly lanceolate, yellow-green or dark green in shade.

Large flowers with a diameter of up to 11–12 cm have golden-yellow petals positioned perpendicular to the stem and a rounded amber-yellow or yellow-green cone. Flowering begins in mid-summer and can continue until frost; deadheading stimulates the reappearance of flowers.

The plant is drought-tolerant, withstands heat and humidity, and adapts well to different soil types provided there is good drainage. The variety is suitable for use in flower beds, rock gardens, containers, and for cut flowers, attracting pollinating insects.
